David Gandy never believed he would be with Saturdays singer Mollie King forever.

The Dolce and Gabanna model announced this week that he had split with the Saturdays singer, 24, after 10 months of dating.

The 31-year-old star said: “I never said she was ‘the one’.

“It’s very difficult to say that someone’s going to be the one.”

Mollie and Vanessa White, 22, are the only members of the band who are not tied down.

Frankie Sandford, 23, is dating footballer Wayne Bridge, Rochelle Wiseman, 22, is engaged to JLS star Marvin Humes and Una Healy, 30, is expecting a baby with fiancé Ben Foden.

David says he will not be invited to Rochelle’s wedding – but it looks like there are no hard feelings as he thinks it is for the best.

Speaking to the Metro he said: “We’ve gone out separate ways and done that for a reason.

“It’s hard to keep entwined in each other’s lives.”
